Cooking With Arlene

  1. My goodness that was a cute and informative video!
How many takes did you make? Or are you just a natural?
You really are venturing further and further away from your comfort zone. Great to see the risk taking!
I think the fear and hesitancy I initially felt about technology is lessening for the very fact that I can practice with it in my own home which for me is a safe comfortable environment. While I am learning to master the tools in my own home, I can experiment, make mistakes, take as long as I want, try new things, and open up an outlet to release my crazy or wildest notions/ideas that I have. I would say that technology gives people freedom and there are limitless number of doors to try when making discoveries about our own capabilities and our options to making our ideas reality.
I don't even worry that the world will see my creations/work when I am muddling through them and I think that helps in the creative process.

  5. wahwa. My tastebuds are overreacting. I am impressed. I will show my students that the sky is the limit. I want them to be able to do this as part of their projects.
Just a reminder that the Cree language festival is on March 12 and would appreciate anyone to attend. It is at La Ronge at JRMCC beginning at 10am.

  6. Nicely done Arlene, I enjoyed the mixture of Cree Language and the fact of the experiment of using technology with your bannock or lebas I think that is what you called them.

Keep it up I can't wait till you post your Doctor Love Videos. LOL
